BOUT / Docs

The PvP lobby

Traders put themselves up. A matched pair becomes a bout other people can take a side on.

The lobby contract is written and tested. It is not published on chain yet.

The wallet is the account

A Hyperliquid trading account is an EVM address. The connected wallet is that account.

Connecting it is the proof. The site never invents a display name. A public leaderboard name is shown only when that exact address has one.

Open the lobby page.

Enter, leave, auto-match

Entering snapshots the published entry bond in $BOUT. The approval is exactly that bond, never unlimited.

Leave returns the bond when you are unengaged, including while paused.

Open to auto-match is an opt-in the keeper can pair when both sides qualify.

Attestation

A keeper confirms the published account-value and week-volume minimums and publishes an evidence hash.

An attestation is current for one day and must match the current rule version. Eligible traders can challenge.

Challenges

A challenge uses a 24 hour or 7 day window. The opponent has twelve hours to accept or decline.

Acceptance rechecks eligibility. The pair must open soon after, or anyone may expire it.

Fighters cannot buy their own bout. That is a contract rule the site must display.

When a bond can be lost

The entry bond is refundable in the ordinary case.

The only slash case is a missing-account flag on a consumed live pair, with a published evidence hash.

That lock goes through a review window. The fighter or anyone else can dispute it before the window ends.
