How a bout works

Two accounts face the same round. See how a side becomes a ticket, what a share pays, and when stakes return.

Prelaunch. Live readings. Simulated tickets.

The question and the round

Pick two public trading accounts. Over 24 hours or 7 days, whichever grows its profit more wins.

Compare the change in their profit, not their account size. A is the light corner. B is the dark corner.

Two sides, one ticket

The two side prices total 100 cents. Your ticket holds shares of your chosen side.

Each winning share pays 1.00 USDG before fees. Each losing share pays nothing.

The fee is 2 percent of winnings only. Winnings are the payout above your ticket cost.

A losing share has no fee. A no contest returns every stake at cost.

A ticket, worked through

Choose the light side and a 24 hour round. A 10 USDG ticket buys 23.0194 shares at an average 43.44 cents.

If A wins, the fee is 0.26 USDG and the net payout is 22.76 USDG. These displayed amounts are rounded.

If A loses, the payout is 0.00 USDG. If there is no contest, the 10 USDG stake returns.

Walk through the decision in the lab.
